Our Patient Participation Group (PPG) meets quarterly to discuss practice updates, share feedback, and help shape the future of our services. Meeting dates and times vary and are sent out to members in advance.
New members — including virtual members — are always welcome.

PPG Roles
Chairperson
The Chairperson leads the Patient Participation Group and is responsible for:
- Welcoming members and thanking them for attending
- Greeting guest speakers and supporting their involvement
- Making sure discussions are clear and inclusive
- Summarising main points and checking everyone’s understanding
- Asking if attendees have questions
- Coordinating meeting content with the Vice Chair, Secretary, and Practice Manager
- Approving meeting minutes before distribution
Vice Chairperson
The Vice Chair provides support by:
- Assisting the Chairperson during meetings
- Leading meetings when the Chairperson is unavailable
- Taking minutes when the Secretary is absent
- Supporting discussions about future meeting content
Secretary
The Secretary manages communication and meeting administration. Duties include:
- Scheduling meetings and sending agendas
- Writing minutes within 10 working days
- Ensuring minutes are clear and helpful
- Sending draft minutes for approval before distribution
- Keeping the PPG email list up to date
- Responding to enquiries from virtual members
