It’s nearly that time of year again – flu season. We’re getting ready to roll out this year’s vaccinations to help keep our community well this winter.
For children aged 2–3 years
- Appointments will be available from Thursday 18th September.
- Pregnant women will also be offered the vaccine from 26th September onwards.
For adults
- Our adult flu clinics are planned to start from Monday 6th October.
- The NHS is due to confirm the official start date very soon, but we expect it will be in early October.
A few things to know
- We haven’t sent out invitations yet, but will do so once dates are confirmed.
- If you’re housebound or living in a care home, the community team will arrange your vaccination.
Getting the flu jab is a simple way to protect yourself, your loved ones, and those around you. Please keep an eye out for updates – we’ll share more news here as soon as we have it.
