Easter Bank Holiday 2026 – Practice Closure & Pharmacy Opening Times

Please note that Ivel Medical Centre will be closed on:

  • Friday 3 April 2026 (Good Friday)
  • Monday 6 April 2026 (Easter Monday)

During this time, if you require advice or treatment for minor illnesses or urgent medication queries, your local community pharmacy may be able to help without an appointment.

Some pharmacies across Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes will be open during the Easter bank holiday period.

Breathe Easy Group – Open to Ivel Medical Centre Patients

Do you suffer from a breathing condition such as COPD or asthma?

Our Health and Wellbeing Coach, Gemma, runs a monthly Breathe Easy Group designed to support patients living with long-term respiratory conditions. The group is friendly, informal, and open to all patients registered with Ivel Medical Centre.

When: 4th Wednesday of every month
Time: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM
Where: The Weatherley Centre, Eagle Farm Road, Biggleswade

The next session will be held on Wednesday 25th June 2025. No need to book—just come along.

This group is run by the Sandhills Primary Care Network, which includes Ivel Medical Centre as part of its partnership network.
