PLT sessions may be used for:
- Clinical training
- Non-clinical and administrative training
- Team development
- Mandatory updates required by the NHS
During PLT, our phone lines and reception close so all staff can take part in training.
Training Days
On PLT days, the surgery will close from 14:30 onwards.
This includes:
- Front doors closed
- Phone lines closed
- Prescription/medicine team unavailable
However, online forms remain open, so you can continue to submit medical, admin or prescription requests during this time. These will be triaged when the practice reopens.
